Getting from the airport to Hammamet: your options

Enfidha-Hammamet, Tunis-Carthage or Monastir: how to reach your hotel in Hammamet, and when a booked transfer makes sense.

Oct 28, 2026 1 min read

Which airport?

Most holiday flights to Hammamet land at Enfidha-Hammamet International Airport, south of the resort. Tunis-Carthage and Monastir airports are further away but are also used, depending on your flight.

How long does it take?

From Enfidha, count roughly 45 minutes by road to Hammamet, depending on traffic and where your hotel is. From Tunis-Carthage, allow about an hour, and longer from Monastir.

Taxi on arrival

Taxis wait outside the arrivals hall. Agree on the price before you set off or ask for the meter, and have some Tunisian dinars ready, since the currency can only be obtained in Tunisia.

Booked private transfer

With a transfer booked in advance, a driver meets you at arrivals and takes you straight to your hotel, whatever time your flight lands. It is the most relaxed option with luggage, children or a late arrival, and the price is fixed beforehand.

Tips for the day

Share your flight number when you book, so the driver can follow any delay. Keep the driver's contact details or your voucher on your phone, and allow extra time on the way back for check-in.
